When you're out shopping at a grocery store, you may refer to that basket on wheels as a shopping cart. But if you live in the south, this is known as a "buggy" to you. In fact, many phrases have entirely different meanings in the south. For instance, "greens" refers to the collard greens side dish, while other parts of the US know that this means a salad. But if you're from New England, don't start laughing at the south just yet, because you guys also have your own vocabulary rules.
